This newly remodeled cabin is the perfect place to getaway with some good friends or family! Huge deck with a private hot tub, BBQ grill, comfortable outdoor furniture and your choice of 2 fire pits make this the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful scenery and getaway from it all. There is a sandy beach area next to the Sandy River where one of the fire pits are located. The tranquil noise of the fast flowing river will put you in a relaxed and peaceful mood in no time.

The Space:

This cabin has a great deck overlooking the mesmerizing Sandy River complete with hot tub, propane BBQ Grill and a fire pit out back. Kitchen is fully stocked with brand new appliances and all the essentials including kitchen tools, cookware, bakeware, grilling tools, spices, and common pantry staples. Huge master bedroom and a set of bunk beds with a full size lower bunk are both located on main floor, upstairs you will find 2 more full size beds. The upstairs area is the perfect spot for the kids to hang out and play with some of the toys and board games you will find for your use in the cabin. Outside you can relax in the hot tub, take a walk on one of the nearby trails and enjoy a bonfire at night!

Guest Access:

The entire house is for guest use including a private hot tub and the choice of two out door fire pits that are shared with the cabin next door. One is located in a shared outdoor area behind the cabins and the other is down an embankment on the beach next to the Sandy River.

Interaction with Guests:

There is a lockbox to allow you access to the home and we will give you your privacy but we are available if you need anything.

The Neighborhood:

The cabin is located between the gorgeous and quaint town of Sandy and Government Camp, proving you with plenty of opportunities to shop, explore nature, hike, kayak, fish, white water rafting, horseback riding, eating at some amazing restaurants and food trucks, skiing all year long and tubing in the winter. Ski Bowl is a very popular destination with activities for every age provided all year round.

Getting Around:

A car is needed to enjoy all the activities at the mountain, in winter you will need chains on your tires to access many of the roads.

Other Things to Note:

The bunk beds are located in a passthrough room, there is not a door separating the dining area from that room and you have to walk past the bunk beds in order to enter the master bedroom (which does have a door). The upstairs is essentially a loft space but there is a door to close. The stairs are a little steep and the ceiling height is quite low so this area is better suited to kids and those on the shorter side. Although we’ve had plenty of adults up there and they have no trouble sleeping in the beds just a difficult time getting dressed with such a low ceiling.



Because you are sharing the backyard and 2 fire pits with the neighboring rental cabin we ask that you be respectful of each other and courteous by cleaning up behind yourselves and not utilizing both areas at the same time if there are renters in other cabin.



There is a possibility that you might cross paths with some of the creatures who’s space we have invaded including mice, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, spiders or other bugs. There will be no refunds or discounts provided to those who have such encounters even if the encounter happens inside the cabin. We do our best to keep them outdoors but they are small and smart and know how to get in.



Possibility for noise from the street when river is running low. When river is high it is so loud that it drowns out all other noises!
