The Space:

Most of the people living in the valley got married in this house!

Built in the year 1688, central, the most prominent house in the village of Reidenbach, large parking lot in front of the house, 30 minutes to Interlaken, 10 minutes to the Gstaad Mountain Ride Ski Resort, Restaurant "Sternen" with local menus next door, small village shop next door, 30 minutes from Interlaken, 40 minutes from Berne.

Ski Resort Gstaad 10 minutes from the house.

Gstaad Mountain Rides is one of the safest and largest areas for skiing and snowboarding in Switzerland. The Bernese Oberland's only glacier ski area is suitable for winter sports from mid-October to early May.

Gstaad is the region's main attraction, combining style, tradition and Swiss "Gemütlichkeit" in a delightful way. The traffic-free centre of the village is a harmonious mix of restaurants, shops, hotels and bars. The ski and winter walking areas surrounding the village are accessed by three mountain railways.

Guest Access:

There's a ground floor with a Pool Billard Table and Darts, adjacent to it a bedroom with a double bed and another two double beds next to the Pool Table.

On the first floor, theres a room with a double and a single bed, the living room with a double Sofa Bed, a double bed on the Veranda and another double bed on the Gallery.

On the second floor there's the detached former children sleeping room with low ceiling comprising of two large double beds.

There's a modern kitchen with dishwasher and fridge, a terrasse with barbecue and a forest at your disposition behind the house.

Parking space for 4 cars at least just opposite the house.

Interaction with Guests:

I won't be on site usually, you may contact me by mobile phone and airnbn mail of course.

Should need be, I can have our neighbour come to you for emergencies.

The Neighborhood:

Local Shop just next door, you can get anything there, from fresh bread and croissants in the morning from 0630 on to Fondue, Cheese, Meat, Cereals, Milk even flowers...

Local restaurant "Sternen" just 30 meters upstreet, local burger joint "Egli Burger" just 1 km downstreet...

Getting Around:

Bus station in front of the house, train station 1km from the house in Boltigen with access to Berne, Interlaken, Gstaad...

Local Taxi service also available.

Other Things to Note:

There's a 12km long bob sleigh path, local Samuel Stryffeler will get you with his bus, lend you his sleighs and serve you a Fondue on top of the hill before you start...
