Description

Chalet La Jorette is a beautiful home fantastically located in the unspoilt alpine ski resort of Chatel on the French-Swiss border. This expansive and comfortable house is the ideal place to spend your holiday and is wonderfully situated. The chalet is near the village of Chatel which is on the famous Portes du Soleil circuit which covers 650km of pistes and is one of the world's largest skiing areas.

After a fun-filled day, the calming chalet is a safe haven to return to, just slip off your coat and sit in front of the stunning fire with a hot chocolate to warm up. If you prefer relaxation to thrill-seeking then simply stay home in the sumptuously decorated chalet and wind down with a good book. You can even pair your book with a glass of wine and sink into your own outdoor hot tub.

A wonderful feature of this beautiful five-bedroom chalet is that it is fully catered; there is no need to spend your time cooking or having to find somewhere different to eat every day as the team of talented chefs come to you! A menu of freshly prepared, seasonal meals will be cooked for you at the chalet; including everything from a hearty breakfast in the morning to a gourmet evening meal. When you return home in the afternoon you will discover a freshly baked cake or tin of homemade cookies waiting for you which you can enjoy as you gaze over the pistes from the expansive balcony.

Skiing is, of course, the main focus when holidaying in this region and when based at Chalet La Jorette you are perfectly located to be able to hit the slopes via ski lift just minutes after leaving your door. You could easily spend the whole holiday in the lovely farming village of Chatel as it is a ski resort which is very hard to beat. The charming alpine village has fantastic snow and a huge area to explore which is all easy to access via a free bus. Skiers of all abilities are catered for in the area and those who wish to go off-piste or prefer snowboarding will not be left disappointed. If you want to spread your wings a little then you are well-situated to explore as the Portes du Soleil circuit has a total of 296 pistes and there are plenty of towns and villages to visit within easy reach when you need a break from skiing.
