Description

Blossoming Lodge is a tranquil, mystical idyll offering a secret walled garden and charming home-like interiors, brimming with personal style and Caribbean ease. Finessed with pretty, decorative flair; floral fabrics, ambient lighting and natural interplay between indoor and outdoor living, guests will feel as though they have chanced upon a private oasis of grace and stye!

This unique home is set on the beach, with the sounds of the ocean and trade winds adding to its natural allure. The gardens are both gracious and informal, framed by vivid blossoms, swaying palms and fragrant, tropical overgrowth - not too manicured, this is a charming space of natural, low-key style and beauty. Wicker chairs, earthy greens and wind chimes add to the magical tone of this bohemian, expressive home. A far cry from the glitzy resorts, Mediterranean flavour blends with Caribbean zest!

The interiors retain the “garden feel,” with a sunken living room offering a centre piece circular sofa, light-filled dining space with full length sky lights and natural stone floor, and vibrant colours and fabrics at every turn. This is a home that will make guests smile; light-filled, with exposed timber sloping ceilings and exposed white-washed timber sloping ceilings

A true home-from-home, Blossoming Lodge has a vivaciously natural feel to it, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, each of the bedrooms has its own accents of colour, air-conditioning and serene charm. Wandering outdoors, guests have ample space for pool parties, lazy lunches, post swim breakfasts and barbecues within unadulterated tranquillity. This delightful home has its own plunge pool as well as access to the wider resort pool

A hidden gem, Blossoming Lodge is nestled in a small, yet stylish enclave of eight intimately styled villas with Mediterranean flavour, around a central pool, offering communal potential as well as privacy for families holidaying together. With concierge services, a house-keeper, cook and option for delivered meals, this home offers a true note of indulgence within a charmingly upbeat setting.

#### Location
Blossoming Lodge is a delightful home nestled in an area aptly named, The Garden, on the dazzling “platinum” coast between Speightstown and Holetown in the west of Barbados. This stretch of coast is an intriguing melting pot of superior luxe, high end spas, world-class golf resorts and star-studded restaurants as well as eclectic and historical local life.

The Royal Westmoreland Golf resort is an exclusive resort offering an array of amenities for a well-heeled, international clientele, and the day spa, Coral Reef Club (2.1 km) is set amid twelve acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the calm West Coast of Barbados in historic Holetown, the Coral Reef Club is the epitome of West Indian elegance: a family owned luxury resort renowned for its special ambiance and classic island style.

Holetown will offer a slice of local Bajan life. The Chattel village is a melting pot of artisans, offering local crafts, art and jewellery. The Chattel houses provide a striking contrast to the colonial residences with their dazzling white coral facades and open verandas; the former are vividly coloured with fancy gables and gingerbread fretwork. The Chattel houses date back to plantation days; the small wooden shacks were designed to be movable, yet this didn't limit their decorative charm; finished in candy pinks and pistachio greens with pretty shutters and sloping roofs.

Speightstown is also known as “Little Bristol” - this town offers evocative local life, fisherman casting their catch on the jetty, a distinctly nautical feel along with street vendors and eclectic dining options.

The island's capital, Bridgetown is known for its British colonial architecture and historical sites blending with colourful shopping, an abundance of sea based activities and UNESCO world heritage status.

Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element, from sailing to snorkelling, jet-skiing to kite-surfing, Barbados has it all. One of the greatest delights of this island is boarding the sparkling waters for a catamaran cruise, along with a decadent buffet meal and drinks.
