These two holiday cottages have been renovated by the owner who lives nearby, and who will advise on places to visit in this lovely area on the Vendée side of the Marais Poitevin. Le Chic (FVE062) is a semi-detached cottage and features original stone walls, exposed beams and a cosy wood-burning stove in the living room. It has a small sitting-out area to the front and a grassed area to the side. La Grange (FVE063) is a detached property with original stonework, wooden floor, exposed beams and a wood-burning stove. Outside there is an enclosed garden which is perfect for sitting quietly in the shade of the hot summer sun. Hire a canoe (payable locally) and explore the local canal network, or visit the pretty villages, markets and beaches of the Vendée and Charente.
