CASA CARMELLA
Casa Carmella is a mansion minutes from town in a small gated community called ”Los Miradores” on the north side of San Juan del Sur by the Nacascolo Bay.
Like a Pearl, this villa is situated on a mountain hill in a very private idyllic setting with a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean. The whole property is enclosed - a seasonal rivers runs through. Wrap-around terraces on two levels present the perfect places to relax, have dinner and drinks, or just watch a beautiful sunset.
There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms: The first floor has a studio apartment, in a self-contained wing, and an expansive grand kitchen and lounge areas. The upper floor has three rooms, and a master suite. The terraces offer a view over the ocean, swimming pool, and lush garden. All bathrooms are made with natural rocks or tiles.
Jose Maria, the care-taker, welcomes you upon arrival at Casa Carmella. He can assist with any questions or needs while staying here. Maria is available to cook extra meals for a small fee. 24-hours security is provided. Also, the management company is located in San Juan del Sur.
Two small convenience stores at the property below are open most hours. Straight down to the ocean, in the Nacascolo bay, is a newly opened area with a beach and restaurants. The Christ of the Mercy statue is towering on the next ridge on the way to town. More to the north are the famous surf beaches Maderas and Majagual. To the south lay Playa Remanso and Tamarindo, as well as beautiful Playa Hermosa with its long sandy beaches and ocean restaurant. There is a seasonal river running through the property. Down the street is public transportation. A fine dining restaurant is only a ten-minute walk away at a hotel.
