You are golf-cart close to Brownwood Paddock Square, the newest town square modeled on the historic Central Florida "Cracker" (cattleman) village. You will find restaurants of varied cuisine, from Italian to Texan, New York deli, fish to flatbreads! The Dog Trot Porch central square hosts free nightly live music and dancing from 5:00 to 9:00. Stop by to watch the line dancing. You are always welcome to join in! The Saturday morning Farmers' Market features delicious breads, cheeses, meats and organic you need for that tasty Florida BBQ. Another center of free activities is the local or regional recreation center, or "rec." You are a short cart ride from Eisenhower Rec, where you will find an amazing array of interests, from Pilates to Pickle Ball, that Villages' obsession. Gilchrist Neighborhood Rec offers a smaller pool and center, just right for a quiet swim or game of billiards. Drop in with your Temp ID and ask for the weekly list of free activities. Waterbury's open plan blueprint creates a spacious living room with seating for six and a flat screen TV. The dining area seats six formally, and a further two at the breakfast bar. The well-equipped kitchen makes meal preparation easy, but please remember to sample some of the 100 restaurants within The Villages! The master bedroom has a king bed, a flat-screen TV, a large walk-in closet, an adjacent master bathroom with dual sink vanity and over-sized walk-in shower, and private access to the screened lanai. Bedroom two has a queen bed and flat-screen TV and is adjacent to bathroom two, with its tub and shower combination, as is bedroom three, with its queen bed and flat-screen TV. The delightful and very private screened lanai is the perfect place for morning coffee or an alfresco sunset BBQ. All of our properties come with High Speed WiFi internet included. Linens, dishes, cutlery and towels are also supplied for your convenience. Each property has either cable TV or satellite TV available for your enjoyment. With the Village Resident ID card you can use any of the 36 executive golf courses with no greens fees. These executive golf courses are not your typical "pitch and putts!" They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You will pay resident rates on greens fees at the 12 Championship courses. You are also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1,000 organized activities every week through the recreation centers.
