Description

The riad has two entrances that allow separate access to the suite / douirìa which may be excluded from the rest of the home or be rented separately. For more information please contact me via email.
For sunbathing in the moments of relaxation the solarium is equipped with water vaporizer.
Unlike other riads in the medina that are often completed in the ground and then reconstructed, we preferred to keep the beautiful original structure that incurs some extra sacrifice in the maintenance but repays us with its charm. We are sure that you will appreciate this choice as well.
The whole house, the terrace, the patio, the kitchen is all at your disposal. One of the bedrooms can be transformed into a double bed with twin beds and in the suite, in addition to the French bed there is a sommier for a third person. The suite is also equipped with independent hob and fridge from the rest of the house.
Upon arrival a person will be present at the medina door to accompany you to the riad, let us know in advance the type of your luggage so you can possibly book a chariot that will carry you home. On request you can be greeted directly at the airport. In the riad you will find a handset with a Moroccan card on which we have stored the numbers of people trusted to contact if needed, as well as booking numbers of restaurants that we like and hammam.
The area is very quiet, full of fine craft shops, great restaurants, hammam and historic sites such as the mosque, fountains and the Mouassine museum, as well as shops selling necessities where you can buy excellent bread Marrakesh, fruits and vegetables ... and then enjoy the magical silence of the house after the whirlwind of the medina. Mouassine is a safe and very quiet neighborhood, centrally located, where some of the best riads in the medina and many high-quality shops which export their products worldwide. The complex Mouassine, in addition to the Saadian era mosque built in the sixteenth century, also includes a library, hammam and a large fountain, major landmark and entrance to the souk. Do not miss the visit of Dar Cherifa, one of the best preserved houses in the city, where you can admire the architectural and decorative beauties and enjoy a great scented tea.
You can also have an aperitif or dinner at the Terrace des épices preceded by a visit to the beautiful shops on the first floor. Climbing on the tower in the gardens facing the recently refurbished Arabian cafes offers spectacular
360 ° views over the Medina and the Atlas Mountains.

For lunch we prefer "la terrasse des épices" or "Kuizin". Close to Kuizin for dinner very suggestive is "Le jardin". Dar Yacout or Dar Moha are very stylish but very expensive (Dar yacout 70€ per person, the price is fix and also the menu) In Guéliz, the new city, a very good restaurant is Al Fassia managed only by women. Their speciality is the caramel lamb shoulder, you have to book it one day before. International cuisine at the historical "Café de la poste", and very close there is a fishing restaurant I like, very simple, very popular: you choose the fish and after they cook. I don't remember the name but everyone knows it. Close to home for lunch or for dinner "Café Bazaar". Of course you suggest you also the dinner at home, Amàl is a very good cook!

We inform our customers that we are obliged to respect the Moroccan law. In Morocco prostitution is illegal and Muslim women can not stay with a man in an apartment if they are not married.
