Located on the Shipley Plateau at Blackheath, just two hours by car or train from Sydney, Kanimbla View offers the perfect getaway for couples, families and groups, and is the ideal base from which to visit the many attractions and activities in the Blue Mountains.
Banksia Cottage can accommodate up to 7 persons in three bedrooms.
Architect-designed and built with recycled materials Banksia Cottage is split-level with living area, kitchen/dining, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The cottage has a wood burning fire and gas heater and is on solar power. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with gas oven, fridge and microwave. A radio with ipod station and games including scrabble and monopoly are provided. Outdoors there is terrace with dining table and gas BBQ in a bush setting.
All linen including towels is supplied, along with ground coffee, tea and milk.
Beyond the cottage, Kanimbla View's other delights await you – the tennis court, table tennis, petanque pitch, a kilometre of walking tracks and, not least, those magical cliff tops.
