The wine region of Cognac offers many distilleries to visit, but also entertainment throughout the year, such as the Jazz Festival. You will be close to ocean beaches with many cities to discover such as La Rochelle, Royan and Saintes, less than an hour away. This magical place is very quiet and has its own park and access to the heated pool (shared). The interior, with exposed beams, is spacious and furnished with art objects (you can even negotiate if you want to take one in). Burie is 800m away (shops, cafes, restaurants), Cognac is 14km (distilleries, golf, river), Saintes is 19km (abbey, golf), and Royan is 55km (beaches, ocean).
