Description

La Cigaliere was completely rebuilt by a renowned local architect and completed July 2011. Surrounded by ancient olive trees in a secluded location with landscaped garden and pool this three bedroomed, three bathroom house sleeps 6.

The top floor composes an 80sqm open plan living area and designer kitchen benefitting from views of the sea, the old village and mountains. There are two terraces at this level one of which leads to the garden and pool.

The ground floor has the three double bedrooms, two with en suite shower rooms, and a family bathroom. Two bedrooms open out on to a large terrace.

The house is decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard with fully integrated air-conditioning throughout.

There are three covered terraces which provide welcome shade in the heat of the day and secluded seating areas in which to read and relax. There are two eating areas overlooking the pool, a breakfast terrace off the kitchen and a 3.3m table under a pergola with adjacent BBQ.

The oldest parts of La Cigaliere date back to 1693. The villa was completely rebuilt and extended in 2011, incorporating the latest modern conveniences whilst retaining its Provencal charm.

The open plan living area (80sqm) with cathedral roof is on the top floor. This composes a dining area seating 8, a winter seating area with 19th century stone fireplace and television with home cinema system, a summer seating area with views of the pool and a designer kitchen. This has access to a covered south facing terrace with views to the sea and the old village. There is a further terrace linking the house to the pool and the garden shaded by a 150 year old olive tree.

The modern well equipped kitchen has an American fridge/freezer with ice maker and water dispenser, double oven/microwave, dishwasher and induction hob. On the ground floor there is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The three bedrooms are on the ground floor.

The master bedroom has a superking (180cm) bed, dressing area and en suite shower room with double sink and large walk in shower enclosure. There is a french door leading to a south facing covered terrace.

Bedroom two has a king sized bed (160cm) and en suite shower room.

Bedroom three has the two single beds (90cm) which can be zipped together to form a superking bed (180cm). There are two french windows leading to a terrace and two seating areas.

Directly opposite bedroom three is the family bathroom with a rain shower over the bath.

The secluded landscaped garden is on three levels with views of the mountains and the old village. There are several mature olive trees and many fruits trees, orange, lemon, nectarine, cherry, apricot and almond. It has discrete garden lighting for night use.

Next to the swimming pool (10m x 4.5m) and sun terrace there is a shaded pergola with a 3.3m dining table seating eight - ten people. Ideal for long relaxing lunches. Adjacent to this is a bbq area with charcoal Weber bbq provided.
As well as numerous seating areas throughout the garden there are six sun loungers around the pool.

Parking is available for two cars within secure electric gates and for a further two cars outside the property.
