You are cart-close to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square, the second Villages town center, modeled on Old Key West. Restaurants offer cuisines from Japanese to Thai, BBQ to burgers, Italian to ice cream, and so much more. Small boutique arts and crafts shops line the streets and square. The Old Mill Playhouse theater shows the latest films in air-conditioned comfort. Do take time to walk the beautiful boardwalk to Lighthouse Point. This is a perfect photo opportunity, especially during one of our famous Florida sunsets. Every evening, from 5:00 to 9:00, the central square comes to life with free live music and dancing entertainment. Pull up a chair to enjoy the "Drink of the Day," listen to the talented local artists, and perhaps try the dancing. (Line dancing is easy and fun!) A second focus of free classes and activities is featured in the Recreation ("Rec") Centers. You are a cart whisper from the beautiful SeaBreeze Rec, with its activities from art and aerobics to Zumba. Outside, you can join swim sports, tennis and pickleball, that Villages' favorite. Most recs offer "Pickleball 101" classes! Be careful..it is truly addictive! Drop into any rec with your Temp ID and ask for the weekly brochure of free activities and classes. You will be astounded at what is offered! There really is something for everyone. You are perfectly positioned for golf at Bayberry. The neighboring Executive courses of Truman, Roosevelt, Turtle Mound and Yankee Clipper are easily accessed, as are the Havana and Bonifay Country Clubs, with their pro shops, Championship courses and excellent restaurants. Courtyard Villa models are very popular for the privacy offered by the enclosed back garden; this back garden is beautifully landscaped! The living room comfortably seats six, has a flat-screen TV and opens to the delightful screened lanai and private courtyard. The compact kitchen is well-equipped for meal preparation, but do please try to sample some of the 100 restaurants within The Villages! The master bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom two has a queen bed, a closet and is adjacent to bathroom two, with its tub and shower combination. Bedroom three also has a queen bed, flat-screen TV and closet. The all-weather screened lanai is the perfect and very private spot for morning coffee or a sunset alfresco BBQ in the cool evening breezes. All of our properties come with High Speed WiFi internet included. Linens, dishes, cutlery and towels are also supplied for your convenience. Each property has either cable TV or satellite TV available for your enjoyment. With the Village resident ID card you can use any of the 36 executive golf courses with no greens fees. And these executive golf courses are not your typical "pitch and putts!" They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You will pay resident rates on greens fees at the 12 Championship courses. You are also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1,000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.
