Description
The holiday house adjoins the English owners’ fermette and is tastefully decorated to a very good standard, with high ceilings and beams throughout, even in the bedrooms and has a large shared garden with private patio area. Within walking distance of the holiday property is a boulangerie and an award-winning restaurant specialising in traditional French dishes. Venture into the Somme, visit the battlefield memorials or spend a day at Amiens’ beautiful Gothic cathedral. Enjoy the colourful weekly markets at Hesdin and Montreuil-sur-Mer for fresh food, souvenirs or regional produce (smoked garlic being a favourite in the autumn). Ideal for the golf courses of the region, the owner can store your clubs and charge your cart’s battery if required. Not suitable for children under 12.The twin beds are available up a separate staircase.
