Description

This is a truly exceptional property, unique in the region for its combination of contemporary styling & lifestyle features. The Retreat really is as good as it looks - open living spaces full of light, a pool with spa and waterfall, a location and view to make you think you're in heaven, and sumptuous bedroom suites to help you dream about tomorrow - all within its own private grounds of 1 acre. This is where you go to escape, celebrate or spend some well deserved time with the family - on the most beautiful laid-back island in the West Indies.

While superbly equipped – luxury hotel grade air conditioning throughout the house, high-end European kitchen with dual ovens, 24-bottle wine & beverage fridges, whole-house Wi-Fi and entertainment for the whole family in every room via Apple TVs and Netflix, 200 international TV channels, Spotify and Amazon Music via Sonos, a fitness room with Schwinn spin bike and rower, and a ‘whole house’ automatic backup generator - these elements are enhanced and softened by classic european furnishings and award-winning designer Naomi Cleaver's elegant choices in materials and soft color palette.

Added to which, there is a magnificent 30 x15-foot pool and spa, a poolside Gazebo with its own beverage fridge, and an outdoor dining terrace with giant Viking BBQ.

The 3 king bedroom suites have Philippe Starke and Dornbracht equipped bathrooms with rain-head showers. The main living area leads out onto the large upper veranda with its family dining and chilling space and 180 degree views over the pool, golf course and palms to the ocean, sunset and lights of St Kitts beyond. Total relaxation and privacy is guaranteed.

Guests enjoy the availability of a Guest Experience Manager to organise arrivals and departures, SUV or Private Driver rental and a range of custom at-home dining experiences, fitness & wellbeing services and island activities.

The Retreat borders the 5-star Robert Trent Jones II par 71 golf course and the Four Seasons 5 Diamond Resort estate and all its sport and dining facilities. It is centrally located to the island’s best restaurants and close to the main grocery stores. The sand and bars of Pinney’s Beach are a 5 minute drive (or cycle!) down the road.

Getting to Nevis is easy. There are regular direct flights to St Kitts from the US and Europe. We transfer you free of charge from St Kitts airport by private taxi to the 7 minute private speedboat taxi ride across the short stretch of Caribbean which separates the two islands.

"Off the beaten waterway, this tiny, sombrero-shaped Caribbean isle is starting to appear on the radar. Nevis appeals to those who cold-shoulder the bling ring, but still like to know their neighbours are a pleasing mix of judges, architects and arty types. Nevis is reckoned to be one of the last "authentic" islands in the West Indies, with deserted beaches, nesting leatherback turtles, and wild donkeys and goats roaming the lanes." British Sunday Times, March 22nd, 2015
