The villa is in the countryside, 2 km outside the village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and near ‘le plateau de la Crau’ – a beautiful sightseeing spot where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Alpilles mountains. St-Rémy is an historic small market town of Roman origins south of Avignon and an hour north of Marseilles. Other lovely towns close by include Arles, Nîmes, Salon, Orange and Aix-en-Provence. There are many small and attractive villages in the area including Egalyiéres, and the historic fortress town of Les Baux. The beach is about an hour’s drive, either to St.Marie-de-la-Mer in the Camargue, or to Cassis.The property features a beautiful fenced garden, a large heated swimming pool (12m x 6m), a glass atrium (40 m2), and a summer kitchen with barbecue.
