Description

Nestled in the peaceful grounds of Château de la Ruche, near Le Mans, this newly restored cottage is the perfect spot for a stay in the countryside.

With two beautiful and spacious bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, a large and airy sitting room with TV and a big farmhouse kitchen, Maurice's House can comfortably welcome four people - making it ideal for families or friends travelling together. Both bedrooms can be set up either with comfortable a king-size bed or two cosy twin beds to suit your group. There is free WIFI throughout the house.

The cottage has its own private garden with a shady terrace for alfresco dining on hot, sunny days. Make the most of the BBQ and fully equipped kitchen for long lazy lunches and suppers on the terrace. In the winter cosy up by the log-burner and read a good book or relax and watch a film.

There is private parking for two cars at Maurice's House and additional parking at the Château if required. You will need a car to get around, our driveway is almost a kilometre long in itself. But you'll want to have a car on hand for exploring the Loire Châteaux, vineyards and countryside - all within easy access for days out.

Our tiny local village has a market stall on Tuesday mornings, and there are plenty of bakeries for fresh croissants, and good supermarkets in nearby villages. There's a fabulous market in Le Mans on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings, and plenty of great restaurants too.
