With four bedrooms and three full baths, this 2800 sq ft. vacation rental sleeps 10 people easily. Enjoy an active or relaxing vacation, with tons of outdoor activities nearby, plus hot tub (in Ski season), pool table, movies, games and grill when you want to stay in. It’s the perfect place for family gatherings, ski weekend with friends, anniversary, or special celebrations. We are sure you will love the house!

The Home: Gorgeous, impeccably maintained and professionally cleaned and sanitized non-smoking home on private 5 acres. Watch the sun rise over the mountains from the expansive deck. Great room with vaulted ceilings and pool table, formal dining room, heated floors and fireplace for winter, air-conditioning for summer. Fully equipped chef’s kitchen with large butchers block island, all cookware, and ovenware dining ware, blender, mixer, waffle maker, coffee maker, electric kettle. Oils, vinegar, spices, coffee, tea.

Bedrooms:
• 1 Cal King Bedroom - Giant master bedroom with ceiling fan and air-conditioning, reading chairs and walk-out balcony. Full size futon seating area pulls out into extra bed for kids. Custom bathroom with separate shower and tub.
• 2 bedrooms with Queen beds – air-conditioning and ceiling fans in both rooms, access to the full bath in the hallway
• 1 bunk room with 4 extra-long twin beds (dorm size), with separate full bath and it's own electric heater, and ceiling fan
• 2 self-inflating, bed height inflatable mattresses, one queen and one twin. These are for flexibility in setting up sleeping arrangements. Ask for approval if you have over 10 guests.

Activities: At 3,800 feet elevation, this is your base for year-round vacation fun. Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is the closest Sierra ski resort to San Francisco or San Jose. Great skiing with less driving, fewer hassles, no crowds, and lower lift-ticket costs than Tahoe resorts.

• 15 to 30 min to historic Gold Country towns of Sonora, Jamestown, and Columbia for sightseeing, shopping, dining, museums, gold panning, and entertainment in historic Gold Rush towns
• 40 min to New Melones Lake with rentals for fishing and ski boards, jet ski, and water sports equipment
• 1 hr 10 min to the Sonora Pass and Pacific Crest Trail hiking at 10,000 feet
• 1 hr 45 min to Yosemite National Park

Check in 3pm, Check out 11am. Just ask if you need late checkout. If there is no cleaning service coming in at 11am, it's not a problem to extend checkout to late afternoon.

Cleaning costs:
$285 cleaning fee
Additional one time $60 excess laundry/cleaning fee for groups of 11-12

Cleaning and Social Distancing considerations:
Quiet 5 acres with plenty of distance away from neighbors.
We added a 24-hr empty buffer before guest visits.
Our cleaning company cleans and sanitizes between guests.
All linens including blankets and duvet covers (over comforters) are cleaned between guests.
HEPA and UV air filter unit in the living room.
Cleaning/sanitizing solutions or wipes, hand soaps, hand sanitizer on site.
Lots of windows and good ventilation.
Wrap-around deck offers plenty of outdoor living space.
Heated floors and Zone Heat/AC heat pump system - there are NO air ducts sharing air between rooms.
Due to pandemic concerns, we've removed the condiments, shared staple items like sugar and flour or open coffee containers, and dog beds and toys. :-( Sorry, but it's safer!
