Description
Loon Cottage is located on beautiful Cobbosseecontee Lake in Winthrop, Maine. The cottage has three bedrooms, sleeping 4 people. Loon Cottage has cable TV, Wi-Fi, full kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer. We have an outdoor gas grill, fire pit for roasting marshmallows, picnic table and Adirondack Chairs.
Cobbosseecontee is one of central Maine's largest body of water. Cobbossee is noted for its excellent bass fishing, ranked #52 in 2014 by Bassmaster Magazine. The lake has a lighthouse, many small islands and coves, take advantage of our canoe to explore.
Our guests can access the Monmouth Boat Launch located a few miles from our house or utilize our boat launch.
Our waterfront features a dock, perfect for fishing. Enjoy the echoes of the loons and eagles on the lake!
**Docking system is removed at the end of each year at the end of September.
**Our max occupancy is 5 persons. Please do not rent with the intention of having additional guests.
