Description

Completely renovated and re-furnished at the end of 2019 to be the vacation home that everyone dreams about. ELEGANT HIDEAWAY more than exceeds this goal. This charming villa in the middle of Mission Hills Country Club is a shining example of how to live the desert lifestyle. Walking through the front courtyard, past the lush desert foliage, the stresses of your day to day routines begin to fade away. By the time you cross the threshold into the front entry, your body has relaxed and you are energized for the days and weeks ahead.

Looking up you notice the tall pitched cathedral ceilings, the den is to your immediate right and the large living room is just a few steps down an open, two-story hallway. Dividing the two rooms is a mirrored fireplace and wet bar completely stocked with glassware and a wine cooler. The artwork in this home has been lovingly curated by a true art lover. Every piece is singularly beautiful yet also unpretentious and approachable.

To the left of the entryway is the large guest suite with a queen-sized bed, an entire wall of closets, and a wall of sliders offering your guests a private entrance and a spacious patio. The en-suite bathroom boasts a large soaking tub, a separate shower, and double vanity.

Across from the guest suite is the large den where you can read a book, keep the "chef" company as they prepare dinner, or create a third bedroom by opening up the sofa and pulling out the comfortable twin bed for that unexpected overnight guest. There is also a large desk, wireless color printer, cordless phone offering free long-distance calling to all of North America, and private high-speed WiFi internet for those of you working remotely.

The master bedroom, located just off the living room, has an inviting king-sized bed and a comfortable reading chair. There are 2 sets of sliding glass doors that open up to the semi-private couples' lanai. The first room of the ensuite bathroom is the dressing room with his and hers opposing vanities and ample closet space for each; the second room is a spa-like wet room with a grand soaking tub and large, separate shower.

Opposite the bedrooms is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has all brand-new stainless steel appliances and every cooking utensil and small appliance a home chef could desire. There are also enough plates, flatware, and glassware for a dinner party for you and 5-10 of your closest friends. The indoor dining area can comfortably accommodate 6 adults with space for another 6 outdoors.

All of the windows are dressed with zebra blinds. There is a large screen TCL 4K UHD Roku Smart TVs in the living room and in each of the bedrooms.

The entire house, as beautiful as it is, is just half of the experience. It isn't until you've walked out onto the back patio that you understand the true pleasures of "desert living". You will find yourself torn between spending your waking hours inside or out. There is a gas grill for preparing wonderful meals. Four chaise lounges and a large dining table that accommodates 6 adults offer plenty of options to steal a quiet moment alone or making the perfect location for a larger gathering of family and friends. The entire patio is landscaped with mature shade trees and perfectly trimmed privacy hedges. Which you will appreciate when you slip into the custom-designed, Moroccan-inspired hot tub/spa. The rolling water and the LED lights flicker making each of the hand-painted tiles come to life in a swirling dance of color. Looking up, the dark night sky is so heavy with twinkling stars that you will believe that you can reach out and pluck one for your very own. After just a few hours in this ELEGANT HIDEAWAY and you'll be planning your return visit the following year.

Your health and comfort are our top priorities. In light of the global pandemic, Greenday Vacation Rentals has taken the necessary steps to stop the spread of COVID-19, including self-check-in with the help of smart locks and tablet guides; adding disposable face masks, gloves, and disinfecting agents to the long list of amenities included in the rental; following the cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing guidelines published by the CDC; ensuring that the home is vacant for at least 24 - 36 hours before a guest checks-in, and training our entire team about the importance of and 100% observation of social distancing guidelines. That is to say when the day comes and it's time for you to check-out you will feel rested, energized, and healthier than on the day you arrived.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:
A. Payment: An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required at the time of reservation. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent. Alternative payment options can be arranged by request. The BALANCE OF RENT is due sixty (60) days before your arrival date.
B. Cancellations of Reservations: A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur $300.00 administration fee and will have all other payments refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. NOTE: In the event of a late cancellation or shortened stay, every attempt will be made to re-rent the unit. If we are successful in re-renting the unit, 100% of all monies paid (with the exception of $300 administration fee) will be refunded.
