The cottage is furnished with charming vintage and antique furniture and offers three bedrooms and one bathroom. Kings Bower has everything that you, your family and friends could wish for in a home away from home.

Location

Kings Bower is located in a beautiful quiet tree lined street less than a kilometre (please note that the road has an incline) from the iconic Katoomba high street with its cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Even closer is the start of the King Henry Cliff Walk from which you can commence some of the most acclaimed Blue Mountains bushwalks including the Leura Cascades, Echo Point & the Three Sisters. A five minute drive away is Scenic World where you can experience the worlds steepest railway, The Scenic Railway, Cable Car and Skyway. For those who enjoy an amble through antiques shops, boutiques and galleries look no further than historic Leura village, a mere 5 minute drive away from Kings Bower.



The garden and wildlife

Kings Bower is situated in amongst established gardens and backs onto a mountain stream. Sit and enjoy the elevated back deck and observe a postcard array of Australian parrots. With patience you may have an encounter with our namesake, the regal King Parrot as well as Crimson Rosellas, Cockatoos and Lorikeets. A Superb Lyrebird inhabits the glen behind the property and those with keen ears might be able to identify his cheeky imitation of local birds including the laughing Kookaburra, Magpie and Eastern Whip Bird. Once the sun has set you may be lucky enough to spot George the brushtail possum or Ringo the ringtail possum who can be enticed to the window with an offering of apple.
