Characteristic of its operating ranch setting, this Montana mountain getaway allows you to enjoy your morning coffee at the deck table while watching the ranch hands move cattle from one pasture to another. Wildlife viewing is a huge part of the ranch cottage's charm, as deer, fawns, elk, eagles, hawks, sandhill cranes, and the occasional black bear pay visits to the property.

Once you've finished your coffee, head back into the well-equipped kitchen and prepare a hot breakfast for you and your loved one. You'll have a chopping counter, prep counter space, restaurant-style sink, all the essential cooking appliances, utensils, spices, and more for your home cooking needs.

During downtime, kick back on either of the 2 leather chairs with foot ottomans and relax with a Smart TV and stunning views of the ranch and surrounding valley through 3' x 8' windows. Head out for a hiking or fly-fishing adventure, then return to your private sanctuary and fire up the gas grill for a barbecue as the sun sets to the west.

The separated bedroom space includes a plush queen, small bookshelf, and a window adjacent to a door leading to the deck. Wake up and greet the new day before washing off in the pristine, full bathroom boasting a walk-in tile shower.

Fantastic fly-fishing awaits on the Yellowstone River just 1.5 miles away, while you'll also find 3 world-class spring creeks - DePuy Spring Creek, Armstrong Spring Creek and Nelson's Spring Creek - within a few miles. Drive just 35-40 minutes to reach the entrance of Yellowstone National Park!

Head to the nearby National Forest and Absaroka Wilderness area for beautiful hiking trails and more, or visit one of the several outfitters close by for a horseback riding adventure. Take a break from the outdoor recreation and pamper yourself with a trip to Chico Hot Springs Resort's hot pools and fine dining at either Chico or Sage Lodge.

If golf is your game, the 9-hole Livingston Golf Club lies just about 12 miles away. Livingston also serves as a great break from the outdoors, as the town hosts casual dining options, art galleries, a movie theater, 2 live-entertainment theaters, microbreweries, eclectic shops, and fly shops for the anglers!

You can also see a show at Music Ranch Montana, or travel 10 miles south to Emigrant and check out The Old Saloon Restaurant with occasional live music. In the winter, there is cross-country skiing available in the National Forest and Yellowstone Park and downhill skiing approximately 30 miles away at Bridger Bowl Ski Area. A drive through Yellowstone Park from the Gardiner entrance to Cooke City is an awesome experience; the best wildlife viewing is at this time!
