This is a recently built villa in a residential district where the large plots afford plenty of privacy, and the wooded surroundings provide peace and quiet. If you enjoy walking or fishing, Lake Carcès is a 90-hectare stretch of water 20 kilometres away, where the shoreline has been thought out with holidaymakers in mind. Le Thoronet Abbey, 11 kilometres away, is one of the most remarkable Cistercian abbeys in Provence. Built in the 12th century, its exceptional architecture make it conducive to contemplation and meditation. For gourmets, the region is overflowing with good wines, Lorgues has a market on Tuesday mornings, and there are local farmers' markets in the summer.
The entrance hall contains a separate WC and leads, on the right, to the lounge/dining room, which has a fireplace, and to the open kitchen with adjoining pantry/laundry room. On the left are a shower room and two bedrooms, each with a large double bed that can be divided into two. The upper floor comprises two bedrooms with two single beds in each, a separate bathroom and a separate WC. The villa is fully air conditioned.
An automatic gate opens onto the large, fully enclosed, wooded plot of 4,000 m2. You will appreciate the beautiful, tiled surround of the kidney-shaped pool, which is salt-treated and heated so that you can enjoy it to the full all through the rental period. Two shaded terraces mean that you can enjoy spending time outdoors, all the more so as the garden affords near-complete privacy, with just the rear of a neighbouring villa visible in the distance.
Halfway between the Mediterranean and the Verdon Gorge, the unspoilt peace and beauty of this region mean you can have a dream holiday in this villa. All the little villages nearby, such as Le Thoronet, Villecroze and others, have a variety of restaurants at very reasonable prices.
