Small and cozy cottage on the edge of the Bend Historic district. Walking distance to several breweries including Crux, Immersion and Deschutes. Perfectly located less than one black from the Old Box Factory, between downtown Bend and the Old Mill (both less than 5 blocks). One block from Market of Choice and Starbucks and nearby several other restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Only a few block from the Deschutes River.

The space
1920's cottage on the edge of the historical district. Two small bedrooms queen beds and wardrobe, large utility room with bunk beds and washer/dryer, full kitchen updated with new appliances, living room, dining area, sitting/computer nook and bathroom. The house is 870sf with enough room for up to 5 adults. The fourth bed is a twin top bunk bed suitable for kids. Please note that the bathroom is small and does not have a tub - only a shower.

Relax on the patio with Gazebo and gas BBQ. Watch the new vineyard grow and even help yourself to fresh vegetable from the garden!

LOCATION
Perfectly located for visiting Bend many breweries or for a mountain cycling, hiking or skiing vacation. You can ride to the Phil's trailheads which offers miles of trails for every ability level! There's also several great road riding loops just out the front door.

FOOD
The updated kitchen is well stocked and includes a sink with garbage disposal, refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, all utensils, and tableware.

We do not provide breakfast or other meals since many guests prefer to go out and when they stay in they have their own tastes and preferences. One of the best bakeries (the best in our opinion), the east side Sparrow Bakery is just a couple blocks from the house and we would highly recommend that for coffee and pastries or breakfast sandwiches. It's also a great place to hang out and read the paper or check your email! Jackson's Corner, another one of our favorites is just a few blocks away and is a great choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have plenty of outdoor seating and sometimes have music. We are also just one block from Starbucks, MOD Pizza and Market of Choice which is an awesome market with a HUGE high end deli and coffee bar! They also have a huge wine and beer selection with lots of local brands and well as a beer and wine bar.

PETS
Sorry, but at this time we do not allow pets at this location. We do allow pets at our other location (Sports Chalet) on the west side.

NOISE
Colorado Ave is a main thoroughfare. The house is set back quite aways from the street. The bedrooms are at the back of the house so very quiet.

LAUNDRY
There is a washer and dryer in the space.

PARKING
There is off street parking in front of the house (gravel/dirt driveway), with enough for up to four cars (tightly packed!). Note that in the winter parking can be tighter depending on snow conditions. You can also park on the street just across from house and on surrounding streets for free.

WINTER STAYS (November through March/April)
This is a 1920's cottage and thus the bedrooms can get a bit chilly in the winter months! We provide electric blankets and space heaters in the winter months.
NOTE: Use of the space heaters may cause a breaker to trip during your stay. It's easy to re-set the breaker but you have to go outside! Please keep this in mind when booking this rental!
