Description

Nestled in amongst mature trees and steps away from the waters edge. The lake house boasts a spectacular view of the lake. Property is flat and offers easy access to the lake, gradual entry to water.

1200 square feet of living space with Kitchen, dining room, living room, loft and 3 season Muskoka room. 3 Bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

Main features include forced air propane furnace, air conditioning, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Unlimited wifi, BBQ, wood stove, large screen TV with bell satellite.

There are views of the lake from almost every room and a 3 season Muskoka Room to enjoy the outdoors, just off the dining area. A convenient public boat launch is just down the road and the cottage has a brand new dock.

There are 3 kayaks, 1 canoe and 2 stand up paddle boards for your enjoyment and some life jackets provided, as well as safety kits. As per agreement to rent our property, personal safety when using the canoe, kayaks, paddle board is your own responsibility and we assume no liability in case of accidents or injury.

We ask that you bring your own linens, bedding, pillows and towels. This is due to COVID 19 and is for your safety as well as our own. All hard surfaces are wiped down and sanitized.

We rent by the week only in July and August and all weekly rentals are Friday to Friday rentals.

Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am sharp. We have a cleaning crew that needs to be able to start the clean in time for 4pm guests.

We do not allow pets as our family has pet allergies. There is no exception to this rule.

Kitchen is fully stocked with pots pans, cooking utensils, silverware, dishes, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, Ninja blender, baking sheets etc.

There is a fire pit with seating provided for your enjoyment, near the lake. We do not provide fire wood, but it can be purchased at a local store. There are fire ratings posted which may include a fire ban. Before you have a fire, it is very important to check the rating to avoid visits from the fire department and fines.

The maximum number of guests staying at the cottage is 8. (including children). There shall be no camping, tenting, tent trailers or other auxiliary sleeping accommodations on the property. If this rule is not followed you will have your booking cancelled and be asked to leave.

The renter agrees to collect and remove all garbage and recycling and to generally leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. Please do not leave leftover food in the fridge or freezer. The landfill accepts only clear garbage bags (not supplied) The fee per bag is $3. The landfill is located at 141 Chetwynd Road. More instructions on the landfill will be found in the cottage.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the cottage.

The renter agrees to return the key at the time of departure to the lock box The renter agrees to pay a $50 charge if the key is not returned.

Use extreme caution when using the wood stove and ensure it is completely out before retiring to bed in the evening. Ensure the glass door is completely closed while in use and never leave the wood stove unattended. The wood stove shall not be used in June, July or August.

Please stay away from the buoys in the water if bringing your own watercraft the buoys identify rocks in the water. There are also rocks that are not identified by buoys, use extreme caution while boating.

We ask that you please do not feed the geese / ducks. It is not good for them and they will start to come up onto the land and they poop everywhere. It gets on shoes and can be tracked into the cottage and we do not want the bacteria on the floor. It is for this reason that we respectfully ask you do not wear outdoor shoes inside the cottage.

Grocery store, Tim Hortons, LCBO, Subway is 10 minutes North at exit 257. Just 10 minutes away.
