Sandy beaches for swimming, surfing and kayaking -- as well as hiking around the world-renowned Gaff Point Nature Preserve -- are all within walking distance.
Just a short drive from the World Heritage Town of Lunenburg (home to world class restaurants and art galleries galore), this property has the perfect location.
Trails down through the woods leading to Hirtles beach are steps from the house. The village is small and very quiet, accommodating a number of vacation rental homes, but also friendly, year-round neighbors. Cows and sheep are often seen on the hilly pastures and wild fruit (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and apples in season) are there to be picked throughout the summer and fall.
