This cozy little cottage is the same color as a banana Moon Pie thrown from a Mardi Gras float. The Moon Pie Cottage is reminiscent of vacations past in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, a sleepy little seaside village nestled between bayous and the Gulf of Mexico. You can hear the crickets, see the stars, feel the gulf breeze and you might even see a chicken cross the road! Ocean Springs is the oldest French settlement on the Gulf Coast, founded in 1699. Enjoy the 300 year old moss draped live oaks as you stroll through the neighborhood past small shops, great restaurants and art galleries. Visitors come for bird-watching, bicycling, fishing and uncrowded sandy beaches.

The Moon Pie Cottage built in 1925 is a quaint bungalow. It sits on a quiet tree-lined historic neighborhood street. Across the street is an 1893 carpenter gothic church and one of the oldest live oaks on the Gulf Coast. Just three blocks from Washington Avenue and Government Street and three blocks to the beach; you’re close to everything yet private and tucked away.

The Cottage is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to have a relaxing and carefree stay including two bedrooms with queen memory foam beds, bathroom w/shower, kitchen, full size frig w/ice maker, dishwasher, washer and dryer, TV and free internet connection. It has a front porch with a swing, a shady back porch and a patio table with umbrella for dining alfresco. So leave your stress and worries behind, bring your flip flops, try on some new adventures and refresh your soul!
