Bright, clean cottage right in the middle of the best of Vermont. Perfect for an athletic family or a couples getaway. Swim and boat from a private dock, walk or bike along the quiet wooded road. A short car ride takes you to skiing, golfing, horseback riding or just about any other Vermont activity you desire.

Or stay home! Relax in a rocker on the back porch overlooking Lake Amherst where it feels cool even on the warmest days. But there are lots of nice places to curl up, on warm days or cold.

Downstairs is an open kitchen-dining-living room with a double glass slider to make the most of the lake view. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher. As far as I'm concerned, it isn't a vacation without one. There is also a grill and a supply of skewers and other grill essentials if you choose to cook al fresco.

The master bedroom overlooks the lake. Full brass bed, new Casper mattress, and full bath with tub. The second bedroom has a woodland view. Full bed, new Casper mattress. The den is "cosy" and without much view, but there's a flat-screen TV and a futon couch that unfolds into full bed. The second bathroom has a shower.

In the shed you'll find bikes and boats.
