This is a bright, clean, comfortable cottage surrounded by unique and creative gardens. Such an easy walk to the beach you can do it several times a day. It is one of four cottages known as Beach Garden Cottages. (See other cottages at vrbo.com ID #s 104164 (1 bedroom), # 104163 (2 bedroom) or #113650 (3 bedroom).

There is a first floor bedroom with a queen bed and a second spacious loft bedroom with a queen bed and double futon. The loft is accessed by a spiral staircase. Please note that this spiral staircase may be difficult for the very young, elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Kitchen is fully equipped for eating in, but please note there is not a dishwasher.

There is a private deck surrounded by flowering shrubs and perennial beds and a large, shared yard - great for kids!! The cottage is located on a quiet street only a short walk to Newport's Easton's Beach (a.k.a First Beach). First Beach has public facilities, a carousel and playground. Restaurants, coffee shop, ice-cream are within walking distance and downtown Newport is only 1 1/2 miles away. It is a great area for walking, running, biking, roller blading, surfing and kayaking. All equipment available to rent nearby.

Parking for two cars. Coin-op washer/dryer shared with 3 other cottages. Outdoor "after-beach" shower shared with other cottages. Window air conditioning.

The location is best for those looking for a quiet vacation, close to but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport. No parties or late night noise. HOUSE RULE: No voices or music loud enough to be hard outside after 10 PM.
