Use it as a base to explore all the attractions that Otago and Southland have to offer; for a quiet weekend away; to relax at the end of a long bike ride; to enjoy a Lawrence event; to attend a family celebration; for an extended stay!
A quiet, attractive street with an abundance of bird- life by day and you are far enough away from the main thoroughfare for a peaceful sleep at night.
Three double bedrooms, two of them very large, each one with a character of its own, two single mattresses and bedding provided for extra kids at no extra charge; living room with couch and recliners with historic fireplace feature; north facing, sunny front deck with outdoor chairs and table setting, as well as a shady nook for two in the corner.
Covered courtyard area at the back looking out over a landscaped garden setting - perfect for warm summer evening barbecues. Or this can be used as a carport if it is raining.
Fully equipped country kitchen/dining room with all the equipment you need to make anything from a quick getaway breakfast to a full-on feast; and, in addition to the electric oven and hotplate. The pantry is stocked with basic canned and dry goods if needed.
All bedding provided and this includes electric blankets. Laundry facilities.
Dog friendly, enclosed back yard. No charge for pets and a doggy bed provided. Off street parking. Carports for one vehicle.
Berries, fruit and vegetables in season from the raised garden beds.

Around ten minute stroll to shops, boutique chocolate shop; restaurants and cafes; antique shops and gallery; museum and Isite - all in the historic village of Lawrence, the origin of New Zealand's era of gold.
Around two minute ride from the end of the increasingly popular Clutha Gold bike trail - one of the easiest and most accessible of New Zealand's bike riding network making it perfect for families and the 'not so fit" who love the outdoors. This place is excellent for winding down and sharing experiences before heading home.
