Description

Comfortable rural retreat in the village of Stakevci, Vidin area.

The house is a traditional Bulagrian style villa, renovated using local craftsman & materials, a mixture of modern & traditional comforts and lots of Bulgarian charm!

Villa comprises of three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living room - kitchen. One of the bedrooms is in the loft accessible by ladder and has two single beds. The second bedroom is with a double bed and an en suit bathroom. The third bedroom has two single beds. The living room has a 32 inch flat screen TV with a satellite box and a very large sofa that converts into a bed for 2, the kitchen is fully equipped with stoves, oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc. There is plenty of outdoor space in the garden, a portable cast iron barbecue is also provided.

There are two village shops, both two mins walk away which provide basic supplies. The town of Belogradchik is a 20 min drive away for bigger shops, restaurants, banks etc.

The villas are situated in the western end of the Bulgarian Balkans, in the heart of the mountain with amazing views all around. There is a small mountain river that runs through the village.

By far the most popular local attraction is the rocks of Belogradchik. These peculiar formations have drawn tourists to the area for many years, in fact in 2009 they were shortlisted in an international competition for the new seven world wonders.

The rocks are definitely not the only attraction worth seeing, some others include cave men drawings, other caves, lakes, fortress and many more.

And when you get tired exploring we can also offer you a variety of activities like fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, foraging, archery even bush-crafting courses all at a good rate.

If additional accommodation is required, we have another three properties very similar to this in the same location.
