Located just 5 minutes from the lively market town of Bergerac, yet in a pretty countryside location, the Chateau de la Cheine is the ideal location for family holidays, celebrations and reunions for up to 20 guests. Bergerac offers direct flights to and from the U.K as well as boasting exquisite local cuisine and world famous vineyards.

The Chateau sits within beautiful private grounds and has a large swimming pool. The picturesque surrounding woodland is a haven for adventuring children who can also be occupied by the excellent games room. The welcoming elegant spacious rooms and extensive grounds provide room for rest and relaxation. The area is famed for its archaic historical sites and is within easy reach of all the famous 'Perigord' tourist attractions. The Chateau de la Cheine is in the local commune of Ginestet a predominantly wine and agricultural area.

The chateau has 10 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 6 WCs and can host 20 people in great comfort. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, a living room with a fireplace and seating for 17 and a dining room. Activities on offer in the chateau include snooker table, a tuned piano, Wi-Fi access, Livebox, Satellite TV with English channels and table tennis.
Of the 10 bedrooms, 5 are doubles and 5 are twins, most of which are on the castle's first floor. The chateau has central heating, and all bed linen and towels are provided.

The large park to the rear of the manor offers space aplenty for outdoor games, and a BBQ area. Dining outside in the garden is a must as is taking a dip in the private swimming pool (with alarm system properly certified).

Situated just a few minutes from the historic market town of Bergerac (9km), one is ideally positioned to visit the many attractions of the Dordogne. The chateau is in the local commune of Ginestet a predominantly wine and agricultural area.
From the Chateau de la Cheine you may easily access the towns of Bordeaux (1.5 hours), St Emillion (1 hour), Sarlat (1 hour), Perigueux (30 mins), and Limoges (2 hours). Local activities include cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis and wine tastings.
