Staying in Riad is a unique and authentic experience, in real Moroccan way of life, enjoying the privacy of the entire riad, but with some facilities such as breakfast the daily set-up and staff at your disposal in an extremely discreet way.
On request, the traditional Moroccan dinner and tours. Our house can accommodate a maximum of 8 people, the price is based on two people, each additional guest pays € 35 a day.

Riad Ethnique offers absolute privacy and peace of a completely exclusive use riad, without giving up who will take care of you and set up for you a wonderful breakfast to be enjoyed on the terrace, or for a typical Moroccan dinner by candlelight. Meriem will also take care of daily cleaning of the house and will be always available to take you to the grocery store, if you wish or he will do it for you. All this will be your choice.
This riad, which has been completely and accurately restored, boasts more than 100 years of history, and gives you the possibility to enjoy the best and picturesque life of the Medina by discovering it from the inside.
Whether you are simply a romantic couple of honeymooners or a group of friends who wants to play golf or a family group on vacation for a week or just for a weekend, this unique housing solution allows you to have up to 3 bedrooms with king-size bed and one with 2 single beds to accommodate up to 8 people.
Each room with its en suite bathroom is fully equipped with everything you need, such as: sheets, blankets, towels for the shower, shampoo and bubble bath, hairdryer.
The kitchen is fully equipped to provide you with all the necessary comforts, gas stove, oven, fridge and freezer, toaster, juicer, coffee machine and all the necessary kitchenware are of good quality.
The sofa area is ideal for relaxing or reading a book, is equipped with speakers for music and water spray for hot days.
Natural materials such tadlak, harmonious colored mosaics and terracotta floors will give you a comfortable feeling.
In the living room you have a fireplace with wood at your disposal to heat the cold winter evenings. Situated in one of the most famous historical districts in the medina, this property is particularly convenient: taxi and bus stop at 150 meters from the house or with a 3-minute walk you will reach the beginning of the souks where you can walk admiring the amazing Moroccan crafts and dedicate yourself to the shopping and about 12-15 minutes from famous Jemaa el Fna. Do not forget some historical interest visit in the nearby like Musée de Marrakech and the Medersa Ben Youssef. If you feel tired or overheated you can always count on our small pool.
The best restaurants in the immediate area: Dar Zellij and restaurant Dar Moha about 400 meters from the house. All of the riad is available to guests except the laundry. Kindly ask for the laundry to our manager.

GUEST ROOMS:
In accordance with local laws in force in Morocco, is strictly prohibited in the riad, private homes and hotels, local people (girls / Moroccan women or men) for many purposes. Breaking this law, they risk penalties and be prosecuted by law, and all sorts of nasty problems, if our neighbors were to report these incidents. It 'also important to refrain from such actions in accordance with our neighbors, our reputation and safety of all of our future guests.
Additional guests, not declared at the time of booking are NOT allowed in the house, not even for short visits and in case they show up at home, every extra person will have to pay the daily cost provided by altering the booking.

Meriem, the soul of the house, will welcome you upon your arrival giving you all the information on the riad and the district, will be available daily from h 8:00 to h 14:00 for the breakfast preparation, the set up of the house daily. Omar and Latifa, who works in our other riad, can be present for the cleaning and maintenance. Meriem can suggest places to visit, reserve restaurants and spas in the area.

Kindly note the riad is a private house in part served and not a hotel, in order to access to the property is necessary to communicate the arrival time.
In case you planning transfer from the airport with us, it will be easy to meet our staff. If you arrive independently, you should inform us on your arrival time and contact Meriem on the day before your check-in to arrange a meeting place and the time, we can organize your check in because the staff who will NOT be present throughout the day.
On request we organize traditional Moroccan dinner, private guided tours, therapeutic massages in riads, cooking lessons.

Kindly note the riad is a private house in part served and not guesthouse or hotel, and that is not allowed to access and use the private store.
In case you need toilet paper or towels, please contact our staff.

We inform our kind guests in riad there are steps at the entrance, internal stairs to reach the upper floors and the terraces, on the ground floor the enrance has access with steps, even to the bathrooms. The riads being an ancient dwelling, it does not have accessibility features for wheelchair users. Check out from h 8.00 until h 10.00 am/Check in time from h 14.00 until h 21.00.
We need to know in advance your arrival time.
This is a vacation-home and not a hotel, the staff is present only during certain hours of the day and the arrival time must be agreed before your arrival. In case of changes, promptly let us know the new arrival time.

A characteristic of the riads in the medina, is that some walls of the house, bordered by the houses of the neighboring riads. It is sometimes possible to hear the steps of those who live in the house next door.

Smoking is allowed only on the patio, on the veranda and on the terrace. It is forbidden to smoke in all rooms, bathrooms, in the kitchen and in the living room. Euro 100 as penalty will be charged to the transgressors.

The philosophy of hospitality that we propose with RIAD ETHNIQUE is to offer a stay in Marrakech immersed in the rich Moroccan tradition.
Floors, doors, furniture and objects are all original elements salvaged from old riads in demolition and skillfully restored.
Bas-reliefs carved by hand, mosaics and the inevitable Moroccan tedelackt on the walls, reveal the skill of the master craftsmen who still perform them continuing a tradition handed down through the centuries.

The riad is located close the the main points of interest, as Jema El Fna Square, the Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, Ben Youssef Madrasa, Bahia Palace, Dar El Bacha Museum of Confluences, House of Photography Museum, El Bahdi Palace.

Close to the riad, some of the most famous restaurants in the medina: I LIMONI, DAR ZELLIJ, CAFE' ARABE, LE JARDIN, DAR MOHA, PEPENERO, LA SALAMA.i In Gueliz, the new town Le Barometre, Comptoir Darna, La Palette. The best SPA near to the riad: HAMMAM DE LA ROSE, LA MAISON ARABE.
The riad is located in Bab Taghzoute, one of the most authentic neighborhoods of the medina. Nearby, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, ATM, exchange offices, spa.
