Super cute, furnished cottage on the point. 2 bedroom (1 queen bed, and 1 twin bed), 1 bath, kitchen, sunroom, covered back patio. Hardwood floors, and privacy fenced backyard. Note that if there is a lot of rain the yard will flood and get muddy. The entire town has a drainage issue. Dogs big and small welcome.

Come relax and enjoy a sunset walk around the point. Nestled on a quiet street two blocks from the Potomac River and two blocks from Monroe Bay. This is a great location for boating, kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing on the beach. This cottage is just 6 blocks to the free public boat ramp, public beach and park. Everything in the town is accessible by walking, bicycle or golf cart. The public library, boardwalk, town pier, antique shops, coffee shop, grocery, and boat charters are close by. Colonial Beach has many friendly shops and restaurants for the whole family to enjoy. The Town offers many events throughout the year such as the Annual Potomac River Festival Parade, Fireworks displays, Rock fish tournament, Art and Craft Show, Jet Ski Races and the annual Tri-athalon.

Colonial Beach bordered by the Potomac River and Monroe Bay. Is located about 65 miles from Washington DC, 75 miles from Richmond VA, and 35 Miles from Fredericksburg, VA. While here you can visit the birthplace place of President George Washington and boyhood home of General Robert E. Lee. Stop by the Westmoreland Berry Farm for some fresh fruit orenjoy some local wine from Igleside Winery.
