The house is a bit raised and offers beautiful lake views. It is bright and comfortably furnished and exudes a slightly rustic charm through the exposed ceiling beams and rough wooden walls. Beautiful, cast-iron stove for cooler days in the house, also fireplace. Kitchen and bathroom are contemporary. For relaxing hours, a sauna is available. Most of the rooms offer beautiful views of the lake. There are three bedrooms in the house: one with a double bed, the second with two single beds and the third with bunk beds. The neighborhood has a private stretch of beach just a short walk from this vacation rental. From Mariefred you can take a steamboat into Stockholm, a wonderful trip through the archipelago. If you want to get to Stockholm by other public transport, there is also a local train service nearby. Golf and tennis courts are located as well as a charming hiking area with forest in the vicinity. Mariefred is a picturesque town with pretty little houses, nostalgic narrow-gauge railway and the attractive Gripsholm Castle. Enjoy relaxing and exciting holidays at the same time!
