Enter a calm, secluded environment and get away from the busy world in this charming, old-fashioned cottage with many Irish touches -- but also with wireless internet connection, flat-screen cable HD TV, hundreds of channels, DVD player! Enjoy the easy two-block stroll to Sonoma Plaza, where you can choose from Sonoma's best restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and gift shops. The cottage is a good base for taking walks.

Traditionally furnished living room has cozy, natural gas fireplace and sofa bed for additional guest for no extra charge. Fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for light housekeeping. Small room off living room can be an office or nursery. Screened-in front porch is perfect for reading, cocktails, etc.; it looks out over lovely garden. In September 2021 we built a redwood deck off the bedroom for outdoor relaxing or dining, and deer are often sighted in the backyard picnic area.

Available by the week, two weeks, three weeks or month ideal for house hunting, relocating, visiting family or friends, extended business trips. We have a three-day minimum stay policy.

For all our safety, during the pandemic, we will observe all the protocols of social distancing and mask wearing when we come together. There is a small bottle of 70% alcohol-based spray for your use, if you need more I can refill the bottle, just ask. All surfaces and knobs, handles, toilet flusher, shower handles, lamp switches, door keys and TV Remote have been sprayed with the disinfectant. You are also free, indeed encouraged, to bring any disinfecting products you like. And because we want to take every precaution for the good health of our guests we ask that you leave your shoes on the front porch while you are here.

We have instituted the following restrictions to further ensure the health and safety of all our guests. I and my cleaning crew are fully vaccinated against the COVID pandemic. I require that anyone who enters the cottage for maintenance or upkeep be fully vaccinated. Accordingly, unless guests are also vaccinated I request that you not apply to Kate Murphy's until I relax this restriction.
