Description
Hello! Thank you for taking a peek into our little cottage. We are so happy to once again be offering our home to guests. Please read ALL of the information below and if you have questions, please inquire before booking a stay.
Our cozy home is just two blocks from historic Route 66 and about a one-hour drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Built in 1905 and later relocated to its present site on a quiet street, it has been fully renovated. There is a large deck on the east side which is perfect for enjoying your coffee or tea in the morning and shady in the summer afternoons while you enjoy ‘cooking out’ on the gas BBQ.
Air conditioners and ceiling fans keep everything cool. Summer days can be warm but the nights and mornings are perfect. During the summer monsoon season afternoon rain showers are welcome and typical.
The light and airy bedroom has a queen size bed, and there is a full-size sofabed in the living area, sleeping a total of four persons. Please note: When the sofabed is pulled out, the living area is quite cozy! Our home is most comfortable for two guests.
The eat-in kitchen is large and well-equipped with a double oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and numerous other kitchen appliances. There is also a full-size washer and dryer for your use and the bath has a combination tub/shower.
Please note: Due to insurance restrictions we cannot accept:

* Children under 8 years of age
* Smoking
* Unauthorized or additional persons - no parties!
We reserve the right to charge you for:
* Theft or damage
* Leaving our home excessively dirty or in disarray. If our housekeeper has to spend extra time cleaning up after you, we will deduct any extra charges from your security deposit. Unfortunately we have had some folks who have not treated our home well.
Our home is not ADA compliant. There are steps at both entrances. It is also not childproof in any way.
There is internet.
PLEASE NOTE:
NO CABLE OR DISH TV, but HULU and Roku is available. The television is a Vizio 'smart' TV if you are tech savvy and can stream it from your devices. We are not, and thus cannot answer questions about that! There are many DVDs, books and games to enjoy.
COVID-19 precautions:
Due to ongoing Covid issues, we ask all guests to immediately wash their hands upon entering our home and to make use of the hand sanitizer and wipes that are available.
