The home is steps from the shore of Windansea Beach, known for its spectacular scenery, sand and soft rock formations and turquoise-translucent surf breaks created by underwater reefs. The beach with its’ grass-roofed shack that dates back to the early 1940's and is designated as a National Landmark, enjoys a colorful history involving the quintessential California surfing and beach culture integrated into the exclusive high-end community of La Jolla.

Sandstone rocks act as partitions along the beach offering a secluded atmosphere for picnics, intimate gatherings and sunbathing. The magnificent sunsets bring to a peak this unforgettable, phenomenal-and romantic spectacle. It has been immortalized in many an account including the Tom Wolf’s famous book; The Pump House Gang.
