What a charming spot to get away from it all at the Good Harbor Grove cottage. Situated on a spacious piece of land, you are surrounded by sunshine, birds, beauty and wide open spaces. This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, ranch home is on Good Harbor Trail and faces east. Sleeps up to 6. Will consider short stays during any season. Prime Summer Season 3 night minimum or weekly Sunday - Sunday. Short stays are permitted during prime summer dates, however, deposits will not be charged for reservations totaling less than 7 nights that are booked online until the reservation is confirmed by Visit Up North the next business day. Arrival and/or departure date must back up to existing reservations and/or begin/end on a Sunday. Memorial and Labor Day weekends require three nights.

Bedrooms have 1 Queen, 1 Queen, and 2 Twins. Hardwood floors throughout. The living room dining room is a combo and features a vintage stereo and turntable, plus a flat panel TV. There is no cable TV, however there are your basic local stations. One well mannered pet is welcome.

There is so much history in this little area that one time was actually a town. Cool breezes drift over from Lake Michigan which is only a mile from this location. Located on a country road, you can ride your bike to Good Harbor Beach, one of the most beautiful Lake Michigan beaches in Leelanau County. There are peek-a-boo views of Pyramid Point on Lake Michigan. The night skies offer star gazing right out your door. With little or no light pollution, be prepared to be dazzled by the night skies. The kids can run around in the yard while you relax on the deck, maybe with a good book or a glass of wine. Also on the property are historic buildings that, although are not usable for our guests at this time, make for awesome photo opportunities. The history of this home and setting is featured at the rental. Have fun going down memory lane! Pick up local meats in Maple City or Cedar and start up the grill. The Good Harbor Winery is only a few minutes away. No worries about running out of wine. Market 22 restaurant is only a 5 minute drive away. Glen Arbor is an easy 13 mile drive. The Sleeping Bear Dune Climb is just 5 minutes out of Glen Arbor but in your location you are surrounded by the National Lakeshore. Traverse City is just 19 miles away.
