Come stay in our lovely lakeside cottage, built by Scott Bernard and Alan Williams, located on Parker Pond; a crystal clear, 1500-acre, deep water, quiet, limited-access lake. We call our retreat Amani, a Swahili word that means peace. If you love kayaking, secluded shorelines and beautiful hiking trails with breathtaking views, this is the place for you. Come paddle the quiet shores, explore forested islands complete with campsites, a rope swing and an abandoned, rustic cottage. Come in the fall for the most amazing autumn colors in central Maine, complete with vibrant red high bush blueberries along the shoreline. This lake is home to loons, bald eagles, trout, large and small-mouth bass. Best of all, this well-equipped cottage was custom-built in 2015, and is replete with rustic features, outstanding interior décor, comfy beds, two fireplaces and a spectacular lake view. Bring your boat (up to 19 ft) and use the private boat access, or just use our 3 kayaks and 12-foot aluminum row boat. Many breeds of dogs are welcome.
