The kettles and hills of the surrounding forests are part of the glacier of Salpausselkä, which was shaped by the Ice Age. Take a walk in the forests where you can also sense and witness the Arctic biodiversity. On the edge of a magnificent spruce forest, there is the lakeshore sauna located 200m from the holiday home on the other side of the village road. The sauna is heated by contract and heating is included in the holiday home service. The beach deepens gently and is therefore suitable for children to swim as well. There is also a campfire site where you can barbeque and spend a cozy evening. Rowing a boat and fishing on small and sheltered Lake Hervonjärvi is also a delight you should experience during your holiday. The small sauna in the yard can also be heated and used by the guests. There is also an over 100-year-old sauna on the yard, with gives you a sense of what the sauna is for Finns. The older sauna is heated by agreement. From this beautiful holiday home in the countryside you can easily reach the historic city of Hämeenlinna, and about 100km away is the largest inland city of Northern Europe, Tampere. The winter sports resort in Lahti is 45km away. This holiday home is ideal for two families or a larger group. The house has two kitchens and beds for nine persons. The road next to the apartment can be busy in the daytime during the peak season.
