Villa Esperanza is a 2-story villa located within Palmas del Mar resort in Humacao, Puerto Rico. The villa has over 1,800 square feet of construction, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a terrace overlooking the resort and a spectacular private rooftop with BBQ and social seating for 6. You’ll love the spacious layout, top notch furnishings, and multiple social areas this villa offers. Villa Esperanza comfortably sleeps 6.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This property is strictly for a maximum of 6 guests at any given time - this includes visitors. the status of common areas.

LIVING AREAS
The main level has an open concept layout that connects the dining room, living room, kitchen, and terrace. The kitchen has granite countertops and a center aisle so that whoever is cooking is always part of the group. The dining table comfortably sits six and overlooks the terrace and views of the resort. The terrace has a large sofa and spiral staircase to the private rooftop. Enter the rooftop and you are greeted with a large array of options for socializing or relaxing. There are both covered and open-air options on the rooftop. From here you can enjoy the trade winds and Caribbean sun while you relax with friends and family.

BEDROOMS
The master bedroom has 1 king bed with a flat-screen TV, walk-in closet, breakfast area, private bathroom, and resort views. The 2nd bedroom has 1 queen bed with a full closet. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds, a full closet, and a desk in case you need to get some work done. All bedrooms are appointed with top-notch furnishing and resort-quality linens. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a full bathroom. Complimentary bathroom amenities are provided with each stay.

KITCHEN
Villa Esperanza offers a beautiful and spacious kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a center aisle with an electric stovetop and oven, and all the cooking accessories you need for an extended stay. You’ll love how the cook is always part of the group. There is also a convenient window to the terrace you can use to send appetizers and drinks up to the rooftop.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Villa Esperanza is located within the largest resort community in Puerto Rico, Palmas del Mar. Palmas del Mar offers a wonderful mile-long beach, multiple dining options, marina, tennis, and golf – among other offerings. The resort has miles and miles of running and cycling trails. There is also a community pool a 1-minute walk from Villa Esperanza.
The list of activities to do in Palmas is virtually endless, but here are some of our favorites:
Golf at one of Palmas del Mar’s two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked over the phone.
Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.
Lunch or dinner at “La Pescaderia,” an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.

GETTING AROUND
We highly recommend renting a golf cart while staying at Villa Esperanza.

AMENITIES:
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. If you are staying for more than 3 nights and the property does not have a washer and dryer we can coordinate a complimentary towel changeover, subject to availability. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES
Check-in time is at 4:00pm
Check-out time is at 11:00am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Under no circumstances may more than 6 guests stay at the property.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Quiet hours from 10:00pm to 8:00am. Parties and excessive noise are not allowed during these hours. Failure to abide by this rule can result in immediate cancellation of the booking and being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged from the damage deposit
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used.
Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
