SunRock Lakehouse is a waterfront property available year round, where you can experience the most beautiful sunsets on the shores of Lake Huron! Sun Rock has all the amenities and comforts of home.

Perfectly located between several popular locations that make for great outings all year round: Lion's Head, Black Creek Provincial Park, Sauble Beach, Sauble Falls, Wiarton, Spirit Rock Conservation, Bruce Caves, Colpoys Ski Trail, Sawmill Nordic Centre, Snowshoe The Biener Trail, Sauble Beach Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Club, and so much more! There are also restaurants, LCBO, and a general store nearby.

This 3-bedroom lake house (sleeps 5 total). An additional 5 people can be accommodated on the pull-out sleeper chairs in the lower living room/rec room. It will be cozy but can also be great fun for kids who want a slumber party on the lower level. For groups over 5 it is $25pp/night.

Bedrooms:
1. Lake View: king bed on the upper level
2. Garden View: queen bed on the upper level
3. Blue Lake: single bed on the lower level. Cozy room, suitable for all ages but especially for young children and/or teenagers. The ejector pump is in the floor under the bed. This is triggered when running the washing machine, dishwasher, and toilets.

The Anchor Bunkie is a favourite with children. It sleeps 4-6 (2 adults & 2 children OR 6 children). There are 2 single mattresses on the top bunks. Guests will need to bring a sleeping bag/foam mattress for the lower bunks. The cabin is available upon request.

Landscaping Service/Property Maintenance: SunRock Lakehouse receives bi-weekly lawn maintenance on Wednesday’s/Thursday’s which takes approximately 45 minutes.

Security Camera: There is a security camera at the front door that captures the front of the house to the road. The camera is strictly used for property security and ensuring your check-in and check-out run smoothly. There's plenty of reality TV around, so rest assured that we are not interested in watching yours!

SunRock Lakehouse is surrounded by forest and water. A main attraction for people but also wildlife and insects. Rainy and humid days especially attracts mosquitoes and gnats. We are in a rural area where you can expect to see spiders. Great for spider lovers especially, those who appreciate Orb Weavers. Good news is that they are clean (how we like all types of guests) and tend to clean up their webs by the afternoon. If they get lazy, we have a special blue broom in the garage (for outdoor use only). You can use the broom to gently sweep webs, spiders, and any other insects away from outside doorways and windows. Remember, spiders are our friends. Think Charlotte's Web!

Once our friendly spiders have vacated for the day, you can enjoy BBQs and outdoor dining on our backyard patio. An outdoor shower will help wash off your sandy toes after some sandcastle building or volleyball on our beach (pack your volleyball and sandcastle making accessories). There's also a large grassy area for children to play, and alas a private waterfront that is shallow for children to play in. It's a rock bottom beach, water shoes are recommended! Also, bring your PFDs/lifejackets if you plan on doing some fun water activities! Lake Huron can be unpredictable at times.
