The Cedar Cottage is a 1 bedroom, cozy cottage with all the needed amenities. Numerous windows allow ample light in with the feeling of being nestled in the trees. Please note that the kitchen has a two burner cook stove but no oven. A covered garage is provided for guests to park. Sweet deck nestled in the trees with glimpses of the Purcell mountain range and Kootenay Lake. World class mountain biking trails right from the cottage as well as access to River Trail system. Arrangements can be made to accommodate a family larger than 2 with a tent trailer right next to the cottage.
Kaslo is internationally known for it's easy to moderate access to beautiful powder skiing in the Selkirk and Purcell mountains. Locally there is a great selection of snow shoe trails, lakeside walking trails and cross country ski trails. The vacation rental is a 2 minute drive from Kaslo and it's amenities. Kaslo has a lovely variety of restaurants, full grocery store, butcher and liquor store. After a day of snowshoeing or skiing soak at the Ainsworth Hot Springs resort just 15 minute drive away. Enjoy a day in Nelson a 1 hour drive away or a day of skiing or snowboarding at the Whitewater Ski Resort just outside of Nelson. Snow shoes are provided for our guests, but note that mountain bikes, cross country skis and kayaks may be available to rent upon request.
This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: not suitable for infants under 2, not suitable for children aged 2 - 12, primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted.
Property custodian is on property and is available when needed. Owners will be available at various times throughout the season but always available by cell phone.
