Description

Resort Etang Valliers is located near the village of Brossac, at the border between the Aquitaine, the Charente-Maritime and the Dordogne. At just 200 m distance you'll find a beautiful freshwater lake with beach (4 ha), a playground and a tennis and mini golf course. Walks and bike rides can be done directly from home on marked trails through rolling, wooded countryside, past fields of sunflowers and vineyards. For a bite to eat or a nice drink you can go to the restaurant or the bar. Also enjoy the takeaway service or the bread service in the park. Would you like to cook yourself? You can get your groceries in the village of Brossac (2 km). About a 15-minute drive away, you'll find larger towns like Chalais (10 km) and Barbezieux (20 km), with a wider choice of shops and restaurants. The nice historic towns of Cognac (52 km) and Angoulême (53 km) can be reached within 30 minutes. You can take a day trip to the beautiful wine towns Saint-Emilion (59 km) and Bordeaux (85 km). Beach lovers can enjoy the Atlantic coast at Royan (100 km) or Lacanau (125 km).

On the holiday domain Etang Vallier you will enjoy a careless holiday in the French countryside. In the authentic Charente region you'll find historical villages with nice weekly markets and rolling hills with meadows, forests and vineyards. Near the domain there's a forest lake with the same name. It has a small beach and you can rent canoes and sail boats. The wine capital Bordeaux is 1 hour away and the Atlantic coast an hour-and-a-half. The fairly new bungalows are detached, feature a spacious patio and a forest garden with furniture and barbecue. Four-room bungalow (max. 8 people). Surface area: approx. 80 m2. Well furnished. Living room with dining and seating area with double sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD player and heating. Open-plan kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Master bedroom with double bed and private bathroom with shower and toilet. One bedroom with two single beds or a double bed. Four-person children's bedroom with two bunk beds. Bathroom with bath and washing machine. Separate toilet. Parking space at your bungalow.
