Historical sites - a little further afield & well worth a day out are Le Buisson de Cadouin, 27kms, Belves, 40kms one of Frances most beautiful villages. Beynac,50kms, stunning cliff Chateau with troglodytic dwellings, restaurants, gift shops, canoe/ boat hire, Local Markets at the lovely medieval village of Issigeac (13kms) are Sunday mornings, Lalinde, pretty riverside town (11kms) market ionThusrdays, The night market at Creysse, (6kms) comes highly recommended.
