Description

Hameau des Claudins is a hamlet belonging to the Plan de la Tour, a typical southern French village where you will find shadowy squares, a weekly market, shops and restaurants. In Plan de la Tour there is year round activity, such as traditional festivals, (wine) tastings, expositions, dance and theatre as well as jeu de boules tournaments. The region is surrounded by vineyards and wineries, which will gladly offer you a taste of the most wonderful wines. The location of Hameau les Claudines can certainly be called unique. The expansive nature reserve of Le Massif des Maures lies on one side, and on the other, the boulevard and beaches of Sainte Maxime. The Maures Mountains take their name from the Provencal word maouro, which means dark, and lie between Hyères en Saint-Raphaël. The mountain range is densely covered with chestnut, cork, oak and pine trees. A driving tour leads you up steep roads, through the pristine and solitary mountains with breathtaking landscapes. You will find villages such as Collobrières, known for its chestnut jam and chestnut preserves, the 12th century Carthusian monastery of Chartreuse de la Verne and la Garde-Freinet. From the artisan village of Grimaud you have a beautiful view over the mountains and the coast. Hameau des Claudins is a hamlet consisting of 2 Provencal stone buildings containing various fully renovated apartments. You may use the pool or you may be lured to a game of jeu de boules. An ideal surrounding for spending hour holidays!

This lovely house is part of a fully restored \"hameau\" and is mostly characterised by its remarkable layout. For example this 6 to 8 person type consists of two houses. The one attached building covers several floors that can all be reached through characteristic, narrow (but passable) stairs. This part has, among other things, a kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and a beautiful bathroom with a bubble bath. Within several metres of this house you'll find a real, 2-person guest residence. This detached annex has a bedroom and bathroom divided over two floors, which are both also accesible from outside. Inside, the bedroom is connected to the bathroom on the lower floor through a steep staircase. This means the guest residence is not suitable for young children. You won't be lacking in outdoor space; the main house has a terrace with garden furniture and a parasol. From the balcony on the second floor you have a beautiful view of the natural environment. Adjacent to the ground floor of the guest residence is a large garden/terrace that has a very comfortable lounge set. The beautiful, large dining table offers enough space to enjoy some lovely meals and as if that's not enough, it's even possible to prepare these meals outside in the outdoor kitchen with, among other things, a gas barbecue. The barbecue can be rented upon request for €250 per week. A guaranteed success!
