Everybody needs to get away from the daily hustle once in a while. Spend time alone or with family. Away from the phone, the internet, the noise. Spend some time relaxing or curl up with a good book? How about hiking, bird watching, exploring or hunting? We are located in the Appalachian Foothills of Southern Ohio. Our property offers rock cliffs and caves, gorges, waterfalls (depends on rainfall), many species of trees and other plants, birds and wildlife visible from two miles of clearly marked, scenic trails.
We have a totally refurbished cabin known as Caretaker’s Cottage. Updated with cozy, comfortable features and relaxation in mind. Caretaker’s Cottage displays rustic charm with all the modern conveniences. Accommodations include two bedrooms (one queen bed, two twin beds), large paver patio with fire pit (wood furnished), lounge chairs, barbeque grill, an outdoor shower, all linens, towels, dishes, coffee pot (coffee & filters provided), pots, pans, silverware, and blender. For those rainy days we have a large tv with DVD player, a variety of family friendly DVD’s and a large assortment of board games.
Hunters- We offer in season archery hunting on our 70 private acres, as well as The Liberty Wildlife Area with 146 acres of untamed woodland, which sits adjacent to our property. There are limited weeks of hunting each year so reserve ASAP. Hunt Club membership is required. We must do in-person check-in for all hunters. Contact us for details.
