Description

Beachcamp cottage is a cute and completely renovated cottage that is the perfect place for your Cape Cod beach vacation. It is tucked into a quiet little 9 cottage development called Hurricane Pines that has been around since the 1960's. It offers all the comforts of home with a rustic modern Cape Cod style.

We are just 50 flip flops from Haigis Beach, and a short walk or bike ride to Depot St., Sea St., Inman St, & West Dennis Beach is only a mile up the road.

There are canoe, kayak and SUP rentals on the Swan River less than 1/2 mile from the cottage. Deep sea fishing, whale watches, harbor cruises are all very popular activities and are available nearby.

There are miles and miles of bike trails that start out in Dennisport and cover the entire Cape. Beachcamp cottage comes with two adult bikes for your use.

Our cottage is a beautifully updated 2 bedroom 1 bathroom Cape filled with plenty of natural sunlight. It has central A/C and heat for those sometime cool early summer or fall evenings.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two twins.

There is an updated bathroom with a spacious shower. The cottage also has wifi, and 48 inch flat screen TV in the living room with streaming subscriptions to Netflix, HBO GO, PBS and CBS live as well as basic cable.

No need to bring linens, or bath towels, they will be here for you when you arrive. Just bring your beach towels👍🏻

There is a private driveway with parking for two cars ONLY.

Enjoy BBQing and a summertime cocktail on the spacious deck with comfortable patio furniture, or boil up some lobsters and clams in the updated kitchen. If you'd rather not cook -no worries, have your lobster and clam chowder at many great local restaurants near by. We would love to suggest a couple of our favorites. Just ask :)

Beachcamp cottage is only steps to the sand dunes of Haigis Beach, just one of the many beautiful beaches in Dennis. Beach chairs, umbrella are provided for you to use and enjoy. Just bring your flip-flops, beach towels and sunscreen and spend your day on the beach. Since the beach is so close you can walk back to the cottage for lunch.

After a day on the beach, rinse off the day of sun and fun in our updated private outdoor shower.

There is so much to see and do close by you can park your car and rarely use it during your stay. Every detail has been thought of, and we have made sure to add personal touches that will make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. If you need suggestions prior to vacation, we are happy to help you plan your visit with an locals view to the best places to see and things to do while you are here. Located Mid-Cape, it is an easy ten minute drive to Hyannis for nightlife, ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket

**If you want to see how close we are to the beach, our cottage and the surroundings, copy the link below to view google street view and see our house and be able to virtually ''walk'' to the closet beach to our cottage.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day so here are a few places the locals love & we love:

Woolfie's
https://woolfies.com/
This is a must try while on vacation in Dennis. Our favorite take out breakfast place. Must get an iced coffee with coffee ice cubes as well as any of their muffins and a breakfast sandwich to go. You will thank us and crave it when you get back home! Get there early as the line get's really long as the days goes on!

Chapin's Bayside
https://chapinsbayside.com/

The Best Chowder:
We have tried them all. Here are some of our favorites:

The Chatham Squire

The Chatham Fish Pier Market
https://www.chathampierfishmkt.com/
This is a two for one. Order your chowder then walk onto the pier to see the fish boats come in - and if you are lucky some seals looking for a snack. The views are spectacular here and well worth the visit.

Captain Parker's Pub
https://www.captainparkers.com/
The most award winning chowder on Cape Cod, this Cape staple is worth the visit for the not only the chowder, but also the nostalgia.

Dining- Upscale
The Ocean House Restaurant
www.oceanhouserestaurant.com
One of our favorite restaurants on the cape. Outside tiki bar for pre dinner cocktails and raw bar. Inside dining room and lounge that you can get the full menu as well. great sunset views out of the window. Need to get a reservation way in advance or plan to wait for a table at the bar lounge. Must try!

The Port
https://www.portcapecod.com/
Stop in for a cocktail and a dozen oysters during their $1 Oyster times and stay for dinner. No cheap eats here, but the food is very good and the atmosphere is a very cape experience.

Gina's By The Sea- Italian
https://www.ginasbythesea.com/
Gina’s has been a popular spot for over 65 years! Great old Cape vibe, cozy with knotty pine paneling. No reservations and sold out every visit. Get there early, or be prepared to have a cocktail and wait. Get the linguine with white Clam Sauce. After dinner, continue to drive further down the road that you came in on and perhaps over some sand on the roadway, you will come to a wonderful vista within a minute or two. If you time it right, the sun will be setting over Cape Cod Bay.
