The bastide town of Villefranche-du-Périgord goes back to the 13th century with its covered market hall still being used today. There is Besse at 7 kms which has a church dated 12th century with its original stone roof. Hop inside a car and take a fun ride to this area’s hidden gems like Monpazier and its magnificent arcade plaza at 18 km. Grotte de Font de Gaume at 44 km and caves of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil are a must-visit. A day trip to Cahors will be refreshing as well. General supplies can be availed 1.5 km away and restaurants can be found 2 km away. A garden complete with furniture and barbecue is available in the house, as is play equipment for children.
