Situated three kilometres from Zadar city centre, Villa Vasilija is the perfect choice for a large group exploring this beautiful region, accommodating up to 18 people. This 8-bedroom property has all the facilities a group of this size could want, including a hot tub and outdoor pool.
The villa consists of seven units – there is one two-bedroom apartment, two one-bedroom apartments, two studio apartments and two rooms with a bathroom. There are seven double and two single beds, with room for two more guests on sofa beds. The configuration provides plenty of flexibility as well as privacy when desired. Conveniently, this spacious house lies just 2.5km from the beach.
The outside space offers an 8m x 4m private pool with a covered hot tub area nearby. With sun loungers, an outdoor shower, a seating area and a barbecue with a summer kitchen, there are good facilities outside and inside. In the property's basement, you also have a well-equipped fitness room, while a roof terrace provides another pleasant space to relax.
The accommodation is set across three floors. The various apartments and studios mean that, as a whole, Villa Vasilija offers five kitchens and seven bathrooms along with eight bedrooms. You will find multiple TVs and kitchen equipment, including coffee machines, fridges and dishwashers. Cookware and dinnerware are also supplied in all kitchens.
The house also has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi and provides towels and bed linen. Parking for eight vehicles is also found on site.
With Borik-Zadar beach just a short drive away, Villa Vasilija is conveniently close to an area with shops, bars and restaurants. Zadar is an impressive coastal city with history, culture, beautiful green spaces and an irresistible waterfront. Look out for its intriguing Sea Organ and Sun Salutation to feel at one with the power of nature. An archipelago of islands lies just across the water, while inland, you have glorious National Parks to explore – don't miss Plitvice Lakes to the north and Krka to the south.
Pleasingly well connected to the nearby Kornati Islands, the city of Zadar combines modernity and history. Its Old Town and waterfront are the parts to see, with several landmarks worth making time for. The Roman Forum is one, found alongside the Archbishop's Palace and the Church of St Donat. The Cathedral of St Anastasia is another, providing incredible views across the region if you climb the bell tower.
Elsewhere, you can stop for a break in Vladimira Nazora Park, which sits between the Old Town and the city's modern area. The adjacent Five Wells Square is a photogenic landmark situated close to the waterfront. From here, cultural attractions, including the National Museum, the Croatian National Theatre and the impressive Cathedral of St Anastasia, are a short walk away.
There's much to stay on the mainland for, with Croatia's glorious National Parks extending in all directions. Paklenica, Krka and Plitvice Lakes demonstrate the real natural beauty of the country, all within a 45-90 minutes drive of Zadar.
